Barbara Everman Obituary
Barbara's first job was at the Dog n Suds/Edwards Drive-In where she met her late husband, Freddie Everman. She also worked at QuikChek, Washington Square Mall service center, Cub Foods and The MEPS.
She was a devoted Christian woman who was a long-time member of the Lawrence Church of God. Her hobbies included scrapbooking and baking, and she also enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family.
Barbara was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother who is survived by her children, Margie Walls (Don Rushing), Retha Luther, Devonna Sturges, Randy Everman, Natalie (Jeff) Bowden, Gina Everman (Don Wimer), Ashley Johnson (Kenny Gaddis), Alicia (Tony) Cordova, along with grandchildren, Barbi, Stephanie, Daniel, Mary, Anthony, Debra, J.R., Tim, Austin, Perry, Kristi, Hayley, Kati, Kayla, Natasha, Heidi, Russell, Ari, Kameron, Milah, Maelyn, Corden, and Rivers: 28 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchild, along with her siblings Mary (Bill) Roy, Winfred (Linda) Turner and Bruce Turner.
Barbara was preceded in death by her three brothers, David, Eddie and Joe Turner; one sister, Carolyn Turner; and three sons-in-law, Steve Walls, Mark Luther and Bob Sturges.
Friends and family may gather on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Lawrence Church of God, 4230 North Post Road, Indianapolis, IN.
Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
To honor Barbara's life and legacy, guests are encouraged to wear purple or your "Sunday best".
Barbara will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Lawrence Church of God.
