Barbara K Fowler

Barbara K. Fowler of Middletown, DE, died at Cadia Healthcare Broadmeadow in Middletown on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025.
She was born in Berks County Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Lillian Kennedy and graduated from North Coventry High School. Barbara received a BS and a Master of Education Degree from West Chester University.
Barbara taught middle school for over 25 years, most of that time at the Avon Grove School District in West Grove, Pennsylvania. Barbara was committed to helping people learn and would often assist students who needed extra time outside the classroom and continued to teach as a substitute after she retired.
Barbara was married to Raymond Hayes Fowler of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, for forty-two years until he passed in 1999.
Mrs. Fowler is survived by her son Wayne Fowler and his wife Amy Fowler, and son David Fowler and his wife Tracy Fowler, and her grandsons, Christopher Fowler and Nathan Fowler. Also surviving Barbara are her brothers, Dan Kennedy and Terry Kennedy.
All are invited to her memorial service at the Daniels and Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown, DE, on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM. A visitation will begin at 10 am. Interment will be private.
