Barbara Sue Galusha, 59, passed away on May 14th, 2023. She was born in Gurdon, Arkansas to Margaret Louis Hackworth and Edward Lafayette Hughes on October 10th, 1963. She is survived by her siblings, Eddie Dale Hughes, Gail Louis Hughes Braden, David Charles Hughes, Keisha Dianne Hughes Webb, Kenneth Goodwin Hughes, Tina Huddleston. Deceased Patricia Ann Hughes Collett; her 3 children John Russell Smith, Jason Edward Davis and Charles Brandon Davis; and her 5 grandchild McKinzie Dasha Davis, Tatum Alexis Davis, Gavin Isaiah Gilland, Karsyn James Paige and Avery Shania Jordan Smith.
She was the District Manager for Rallys for 33 years for the Lexington area. In that time, she made countless friends, work colleagues and many who would refer to her as their 2nd mother. She had such a huge, amazing heart and love for everyone she encountered. She went by many names: Barb, Miss Barb, Sunshine, Barbie Q, Babs, Sista Cookie. But the one she was most proud of was Mimi. Thank you to everyone who will come to celebrate this amazing, irreplaceable woman's life.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Rd. Visitation will be held from 5pm – 8pm Friday, at the funeral home. Burial to follow at A. R. Dyche Memorial Park, London, KY at 1:00pm. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home -Harrodsburg Rd is in charge of the arrangements.
