Barbara Gray Gill, at age 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2025. Barbara was born and raised in Litchfield, Connecticut.

She was educated at Litchfield High School, Whitney School of Art, and a graduate of the Maryland Institute of Art. She was employed as an illustrator for John Hopkins University and John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, In the 60's, she served as a receptionist for The Hoover Company in North Canton. Until her retirement, she worked as Office Manager of The Panel House, a family-owned business in North Canton.

Besides her parents, David and Ruth Gray; stepfather, Donald Peck; stepdaughter, Kathy Tomlinson; Barbara was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 48 years, J. Bernie Gill. She is survived by her stepson, Col. Mark Gill of Colorado; three granddaughters; ten great-grandchildren; and three stepbrothers, Don, Douglas, and Alden Peck.

She was a member of The Basilica of St. John The Baptist and the Recreational Association of Lake Cable.

Calling hours will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Lamiell Funeral Home, Canton, where the service will immediately follow at 12:30 PM. Father Ed Grecko will preside. Interment will take place at Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton.

Barbara was a lover of animals and requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society, 5100 Peach Street, Louisville, Ohio 44641.

The family would like to thank all the home caregivers, especially Connie Luthi and all the doctors, nurses, and aides at Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center, for their excellent care.
