Barbara J. Gorman

Barbara J. (Sprinkle) Gorman, age 74, of Hanover, passed away at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital on December 12, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Michael F. Gorman who passed away on April 29, 2020; together they shared 28 years of marriage.
Barbara was born in Baltimore, MD on August 11, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred (Bowers) Sprinkle. She worked as a seamstress for English American, a seamstress at Jos. A. Banks, and a paint specialist at Harley Davidson. Barbara also loved cooking and baking, animals, the mountains, fishing, and spending time with her loving family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her son Michael Fuhrman and wife Nicole; her grandchildren Nichole Crusey and husband Wesley, Seth Fuhrman, Logan Conaway, and Brenden Conaway; and her great-granddaughter Charlotte Crusey. She is also survived by her siblings Beverly Cogdill, Ronnie Sprinkle, and Kathy Shore. Barbara was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Knight.
A visitation in celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown PA 17344.
