Whiteland, IN. – Barbara Ann Herron, 81, of Whiteland, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Greenwood Healthcare Center in Greenwood, Indiana.
Barbara was born in Russell Springs, Kentucky on November 6, 1943 to the Late Grady and Ona (Wilson) Popplewell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alton Tony Herron; siblings, Maxine, Loretta, Betty, Judy, Jimmy, Billy, Joe, Danny.
Barbara is survived by her children, Terry (Regina) Gaskin, Timothy Gaskin, Tammy Gaskin; grandchildren, Wayne, Josh, Morgan, Terry II, Megan; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 P.M. on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Jessen Funeral Home in Whiteland, Indiana. Burial will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11 A.M., until the time of service, on Thursday, at the funeral home.
