A private graveside service will be conducted in the Ayden Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Dawn, 3812 Robin Rd, Ayden, NC 28513, on Wednesday from 4-7pm.
"Miss Bobbi", a lifelong resident of Ayden, worked as a hairdresser for over 40 years with Klip 'n Kurl in Ayden where she made lifelong friends. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flowers, especially her peonies. She also enjoyed crocheting baby blankets and giving them to away to friends and family. "Miss Bobbi" was well known by young and old for having a well-stocked candy jar!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyman and Ester Buck, husband, William "Shad" Holland, and a brother, Charles Buck.
She is survived by her children, Dawn Roberson (David) of Ayden and Billy Holland (Penny) of Grifton; grandchildren, Justin Roberson (Beth) of Ayden, Will Holland (Ashley), of Thomasville, and April Holland of Grifton; brothers, James Buck of Ayden and Harold Buck of Florida; sister, Peggy Sutton of New Bern; and she was blessed with great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
