Barbara Jacobson

Barbara Jacobson (aka Anna Barbara Jacobson) passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025.She was the daughter of Joseph and Sylvia Diperstein and happily married for 32 years to the late Stanley Jacobson. She was a good person, a devoted and loyal friend to many and she loved her cat Penny who she and Stanley befriended. She enjoyed going to the movies with friends and traveling on the bus to Atlantic City with Stanley to try their luck on the slots. They were truly two peas in a pod.  She was a devoted and hard working secretary/ assistant at Wells Fargo Brokerage for many years and in her retirement volunteered at Jeannes Hospital where the staff came to truly appreciate her out-going personality and dedication. She often greeted you with a "hello doll." When you asked her how she was doing she would say "I'm doing the best I can." And that she did. She is survived by her first cousins, Mark Harris (Ellen), Barry Harris (Carole) and Lois Eiseman (Marc), her nephew, Neil Plenn (Karen) and a number of second cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Wednesday 10 am precisely at Montefiore Cemetery (sec. O), 600 Church Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046. Contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. May her memory be a blessing
