Barbara A. Jaynes (Wilson)
Bay City, Michigan
Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at home with her family by her side at age 86. Barb was born June 22, 1935 in Bay City to the late Warren and Flora (Duso) Wilson. She married Gary R. "Jake" Jaynes in Fort Hood, Texas on August 10, 1957 and he predeceased her in death on September 29, 2011. Barb worked for Prestolite and later did the bookkeeping for the Regal House. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Catholic Church and enjoyed playing cards at the Community Center, bingo, camping in Wolverine and socializing with friends. Barb loved spending time with her family and spoiled her faithful dogs: Inky, Bruiser, Troubles and Sadie throughout the years.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Roger (Michelle) Jaynes, four grandchildren: Jennifer (Jim) Bissonette, Greg Jaynes, Karrie Jaynes and Kyle Jaynes (Ali Dana), three great grandchildren: Jacob "Jake" and Jordyn Bissonette and Noah Jaynes, one brother-in-law Harley Jaynes and nieces and nephews: Linda Tomaszewski, Bob (Vivian) Jaynes, Debbie Jaynes, Peggy (Brian) Knopp and John Jaynes. Barb was predeceased by one sister Lois (Frank) Tomaszewski and one sister-in-law Barbara Jaynes.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, December 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1000 S. Wenona Street, Bay City, MI 48706. Fr. Robert Kelm will celebrate Mass and interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends and family will gather at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM.
Please note: With the increase of Covid 19 cases and exposures the church requests that those who plan on attending visitation or Mass wear a face covering at all times while in church. www.squiresfuneralhome.com
