Barbara Jezek Obituary

She was born near Paden, Oklahoma on February 28th,1941. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Jezek in 2012; her mother, Maymie Lorene Walker, in 1985; and a brother, Tom Johnson of Missouri.
Barbara was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and taught 3rd grade Sunday School for 45 years at Sooner Baptist Church, where she was a member of Heartsong Women's worship choir.
She was a devoted Christian wife and mother. She loved cooking, gardening, reading Christian books, and playing dominoes. She was a caregiver for many years in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Barbara is survived by her sister Dawn Wright, her daughter Melissa, her son Brent and wife Darlene Jezek, two granddaughters Lorene Jezek and Lindsey Jezek. Also, a son Kevin Jezek and his wife Haydee and their children: Chris Jezek, Justin, Brandon Jezek, Gretel Jezek and Brian. Barbara had one great-grandson, Jacob Jezek.
Services will be April 11, 2025 at 2:00pm at Sooner Road Baptist Church with interment at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
