Mrs. Barbara Gravenor Killmon, 89 of Greenbush passed away Tuesday at her residence.
Born in Greenbush on October 27, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Walter Gravenor and the late Inez Mears Gravenor. Barbara was a homemaker and a member of the Parksley Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and was always ready to go. She loved working in her yard and tending to her garden. She also loved reading, birdwatching, and her cats. Other than her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Gray, Sr., her second husband, Ernest E. Killmon, and her last husband Roger Beasley.
Barbara is survived by a daughter Vicky Fussell (Daryn); her sons, Carl L. Gray, Jr. (Debbie), Paul Gray Sr. (Debbie), Danny Killmon (Sabrina), Ernest (Buzzy) Killmon (Jackie), Rodney Beasley (Lucy), and Mark Beasley (Debbie); a brother, Harry Gravenor; her grandchildren, Carl Lee Gray, III, Daniel Gray (Ashley), Walter Gray (Grace), Paul Lee Gray, Jr., Lindsey Fussell (Owen Lewis), Mary E. Killmon, Anna Malik, Jason Killmon, Christina K. McClung, Stephanie Killmon, Andrew Killmon, Daniel Beasley, Dylan Beasley, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 13, at 2:00 PM from the graveside of the Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock with the Rev. John Burr officiating.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Parksley Vol. Fire Department, P. O. Box 14, Parksley, VA 23421 or the Eastern Shore SPCA, P. O. Box 165, Onley, VA 23418.
