Mrs. Barbara Sue McCarry, 85 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at MediLodge of Hillman on May 16, 2025. She was born in Flint, Michigan to the late Lloyd Hodges and Beulah McIvor on March 20, 1940. Barbara enjoyed a variety of hobbies including playing BINGO, the lottery, and games on her computer. She enjoyed bowling, making crafts, and loved animals. She had a big heart and a hand always willing to help others. Barbara especially loved being with her family.
She is remembered by her daughters, Cinda Savone and Belinda Schrader; grandchildren, Richard Sr., Sunni Savone, Daniel (Kaci) Savone, Kiana (Dylan) Savone; Maranda, (Bradley) Ervin, Lindsay Ryczek. 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Fred Etten. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Hodges and Beulah McIvor; husband, Richard A. McCarry; brother, Joe Etten; sister, Betty Griswold; and cousin, Dennis McIvor.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Barbara privately at this time.
