Joseph Albert McCarry

Joseph Albert McCarry, of Levittown, PA, died peacefully with his wife by his side, on January 3, 2024 at his residence. He was 65 years old.
Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia and a 1976 graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, he had been a Levittown resident for over 20 years.
Joe proudly served his country in the U. S. Army as a military police officer for 20 years, and afterwards was employed as a service technician with Verizon Communications in Levittown for 13 years until he retired in 2013.
Joe and his wife were enthusiastic cruisers, having taken more than 75 cruises together. Joe was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles, and was also an avid supporter of WAGS Rescue.
Son of the late James J. and Esther C. Funk McCarry, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lisa M. (Rohn); four children; Rebecca Perry (Renardo), Rich Morrell (Nicole), Michael Morrell (Jessica Doerr), and Sara McCarry, was the devoted "pop-pop" of thirteen grandchildren, Dameon, Brielle, Sierra, Reese, Hugo, Maxwell, Dahlia, Olivia, Richie, Lily, Danny, Evie, and Brayden.
Joseph will also be sadly missed by his siblings; James McCarry (Sandy), Mary Kay August (Ronald), Robert McCarry (Mary), Maureen Wallin (Thomas), Michael McCarry (Linda), several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He also leaves behind his beloved dog "Lucy."
His funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 10, 2024, 12:30 PM, at the Queen of the Universe R.C. Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM at the church. Interment will follow precisely at 2:00 PM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions in his name be made to wagsrescue.org.
