Barbara Jo McCutchan

Barbara Jo (Cunningham) McCutchan, 85 of Beech Bottom, WV, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Arden Courts, Pittsburgh, PA.
Barbara was born on January 21, 1940 in West Union, WV. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Phyllis Cunningham.
Many will remember Barbara for her love and care for her family, her deep faith in God, her love of neighbors, and being an active member of the Beech Bottom Community Christian Church. She was a homemaker and started working at Hammond and Wellsburg Middle School as a cook after she raised her kids. She was always serving the community and visiting with her friends.... always on the go.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, William (Bill) G. McCutchan. In addition, Barbara was preceded in death by her son, John Paul McCutchan, her parents, and her three siblings: Cathy Jo, Paul "Pete" and Paulette.
Barbara is survived by her three children, Beth Ann Tanner and her husband, Ray of Elkins, WV, William James McCutchan and his wife, Jenny of Virginia, Larry Alden McCutchan and his wife, Tracy of Allison Park, PA, a daughter-in-law, Nancy McCutchan of Fairmont, WV, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551.
The family is planning a private graveside service.
