Barbara J. Koch McGee, 82, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025.
A proud graduate of Atherton High School, Class of 1961, Barb went on to enjoy a long career as an administrative assistant with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, beginning with the department of Child Protective Services and concluding with retirement from the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

Barb lived life with spirit and adventure. She loved riding her red Harley and was the co-founder of the Louisville Chapter of Women on Wheels. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward and June Wilber Koch of Crescent Hill.
Barb is survived by her sister, Charlene Koch Nannini; her two sons, Robert Koch and Tim Rhea (Laura); and her grandsons, Charlie Rhea and Peyton Rhea (Kelsey). She is also survived by her niece, Maria Maple; her nephew, Matt Maple (Melissa); great-nephews Sam Snyder and Brendan Maple; and great-niece Ryleigh Maple.
