Barbie was quite the fashionista, always having coordinated headbands and jewelry for every outfit. She loved going out to get her nails done and always looked forward to celebrating the holidays with friends. Spending time in the community and being with her friends brought her great joy. She was also a devout Catholic and enjoyed attending Mass at St. Bernadette.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 4 p.m. until time of Blessing Service at 7 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Interment will be private at McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery. www.jobefuneralhome.com.

Just heard of Barbara´s passing. I will miss her smile and dancing eyes. I will miss seeing her and chatting after mass at St Bernadette church ( now Christ the Divine Shepherd). May you Rest In Peace Barb.

Barb, you were one of my first residents that I worked with when I started at CLASS. You quickly became one of my very favorite human beings I've had the pleasure of working beside. You were always such a bright spot in my day because of that infectious smile and your endearing eye roll. I'll miss how you always cared to ask how our days were going and ask about our families. You became part of our family too. I will miss you so much. Please watch over us. It's not goodbye, but see you soon, Barbie Doll.
