Barbara June Moore, age 88, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, at her home. She was born on Sunday, October 4, 1936, to Floyd Lemmie and Winnie Merritt Bailey Hardin in Gary, Texas.

Barbara was a devoted Christian woman whose heart for the Lord was evident in the way she lived and served others. For many years, she was a faithful member of Chapel of the Pines Baptist Church in Hochatown, where she joyfully played the piano, taught Vacation Bible School, and led ladies' Bible study. Her love for people and her desire to share God's Word touched many lives and left a lasting influence on her church family and community.

Family was the center of Barbara's life, and she cherished every moment with them-especially her beloved grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. She also found fulfillment in her work, both as a substitute teacher in the Broken Bow School System and during her time with the Oklahoma State Welfare Office, where her compassion and dedication made a difference in countless lives.

Barbara enjoyed the simple, beautiful things in life. She loved tending to her yard, planting her garden, and carefully making sure her flower beds were always a picture of beauty and care. She poured her heart into everything she did, whether it was serving at church, loving her family, or creating beauty around her home.

Barbara will be remembered for her faith, her kindness, and her servant's heart. She leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and grace that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Moore; one son, Tony Moore; two brothers, Bill Hardin and Bob Hardin; three sisters, Juanita Adams, Wanda Fruits, and Imogene Pedro; one great-grandchild, Celeste Moore; her son-in-law, Kenneth "Lynn" Beavers

Barbara is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Gina Moore of Tucson, Arizona; her daughter, Melodie Beavers of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; one sister, Elsie Morgan of North Little Rock, Arkansas; sister in law, Esther Moore of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Brandon and Vanessa Moore and Taylor and Cameron Sample all of Tucson, Arizona, Robert II and Chais Moore of Houston, Texas, Kyle and Courtney Clayton of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Kendra Beavers and Dakota Young of Pickens, Oklahoma and Aspen and Brent Corrado of Gilbert, Arizona; eleven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services are pending at this time and will be announced in November 2025 with cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
