Barbara Driggers Moore

Mrs. Barbara "Bobby" Driggers Moore, 89, passed away on October 2, 2025, in her hometown of Charlotte. Barbara was always a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and friend, making sure everyone was accommodated. Barbara's grace, poise and boundless love have touched all the lives that knew her.
She was born on February 14,1936 in Charlotte to a family that is rooted in Southern traditions and warm faith. Barbara spent her life giving wholeheartedly to those around her, and is remembered for her dedication to her family, cherished pets, and church where she once served. Barbara was employed by Southern Bell as a Data Entry Specialist until retirement.
Her surviving family who continued to surround her with love is her son Rodney Moore, (wife Carrie Moore); son George Michael Moore; granddaughter, Savanna Ashlie Moore; cousin Marilyn Hall Jones and her children Finley Jones III, Sidney Jones, Branson Jones. Barbara is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George RB Moore; and her parents, Carl and Edith Driggers.
Her family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Novant Hospice nurses: Amanda, Lynnde, Nadia and Samia; and to the Harris Hospice where all the staff have been beyond stellar.
A gaveside memorial service for Barbara will be held for friends and family at 11 AM on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road,Charlotte NC 28212.
