Barbara Munzer

Barbara Munzer, on September 9, 2024, just three days after celebrating her 83rd birthday. She was born on September 6, 1941, in Brooklyn, NY, and throughout her life, she embodied warmth and care, touching the lives of everyone around her.

Barbara was cherished as a welcoming and loving mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family, making countless memories with her husband, her children, and her grandchildren, and demonstrating the deep love she held for them. Her commitment to her family was evident in everything she did, and she will be greatly missed by those who had the privilege of calling her mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Frederick E. Munzer, her daughter Karin and her husband Neal Brandsdorfer, her son Craig and his wife Patricia Munzer, and her daughter Susan and her husband Les Fredette. Additionally, Barbara leaves behind her seven grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation services, which will take place on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729. The first visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, followed by a second visitation later that day from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
