Barbara "Bobbie" Lucille Nutter, 89, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 8:10 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Ayden Health Care of Belle Springs in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born on February 29, 1936, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert David Gough and Kathryn Aurora (McCoy) Gough.
On June 29, 1952, Barbara married Charles E. Stevens, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1997. On May 26, 1973, she married Fred R. Nutter and he preceded her in death on May 6, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kelly Ware, and a brother and a sister-in-law, Robert David (Patti) Gough II.
Barbara is survived by her two children, Lynn Ware, and Chuck (Lori) Stevens; seven grandchildren, Nikki (John) Shaner, Ryan Ware, Chris (Houston) Ware, Andy Stevens, Amanda (Michael) Davis, Lindsey Stevens, and Ross Stevens; fourteen great grandchildren, Ashlyn (Lane) Mefford, Kaitlyn, Riley, Bennett, Wyatt, Gabriel, Sawyer, Hayes, Zoey, Boston, Deklan, Weston, Nelle, and Louella; nieces and nephews, Rob (Karen) Gough, Chris (Steve) Smalluck, and Vicki (Mark) Butorac; and great nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Melissa, and Madison.
Barbara had owned and operated Katie’s Kids Kitchen for several years. Her family was most important. She enjoyed following her grandkid’s sports, school programs, graduations, and weddings. Some of her favorite times were spent at the cottage at Indian Lake fishing, boating, playing games, but most importantly making lifetime memories with her family. “Grandma Bobbie” supported not only her grandkids, but their friends as well.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio.
