Barbara Palmer passed away on September 13, 2025 at her family home in White Bluff, Tennessee. She was the wife of Terry Palmer. They shared 39 years together. Born in Paris, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Garrett and Mary Wofford. She enjoyed being with her family, whether it be at one of her grandson’s sporting events, celebrating birthdays, going to concerts or especially the holidays.
Barbara will be remembered for her unwavering love, quiet strength, and her wonderfully stubborn spirit. When she set her mind to something, there was no changing it—and that determination helped shape a strong, close-knit family full of love and loyalty. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support, and she leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and fierce devotion.
She is survived by her sister, Linda (Wofford) Weber (Joseph “Joe” [H]), husband Terry Palmer, daughter’s, Jennifer (Wofford) Young (Jerry [H], Logan & Cole [grandson’s]), Terra Palmer (Blake Palmer [grandson], and son Tyler Palmer.
A private family graveside service will be held to honor her life and memory at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 12:30pm.
