Barbara Jean Palombo was born in Seattle, Washington on February 21, 1940 to Bentley Eugene and Velma Moyer. Shortly after her birth, they moved to Colorado which became Barbara's home for her entire life.
Barbara was married to Eugene Palombo. She had two children, Marisa and Michael. She later divorced Eugene and moved to Brighton Colorado to raise her two children. She lived in her quiet home in Brighton for nearly 50 years.
Barbara worked many jobs from farmer to a bookkeeper at Colorado Tent and King Soopers. Once she retired she decided to work part time at Sturgeon Electric. She enjoyed the outdoors, often taking her big RV over many of the Colorado Mountains with her grandchildren. She loved to fish and camp. She was also a great tourist visiting many countries throughout her life. Barbara was a devote Christian, spending every day in devotion and prayer.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her daughter, Marisa Owens of Roggen, Colorado, her granddaughter, Larissa and Michael Kreutzer of Roggen Colorado, grandson, Zack and Katie Owens of Chesapeake Virginia, grandson Dan and Cathleen Owens of Roggen, Colorado, and Sister Sharon Smith of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Lane and Kylee Kreutzer, Easton Owens, Parker and Alaya Owens and Vivianna Chancellor. Additionally, she was awaiting the birth of her newest great grandchild who is to be born in May. Finally, she is survived by her loyal and sweet dachshund, Lucy, whom she loved very much and was by her side to the very end.
