Barbara Ann (nee-Ishley) Paskert passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 86 years old.
She was born and raised in Kingston, PA. Barbara lived in Morris Plains for most of her life.
Barbara was a homemaker who was dedicated to taking care of her family and grandchildren. She always enjoyed spending time during the summer and holidays with her family back in PA. Barbara loved hopping in her car and browsing around the stores. She liked doing word puzzles and watching a good game show. She took pride in her skin care and make-up and it showed. Barbara never missed a single activity or event for her grandkids. She was loved by so many and known by so many as the best Grandma.
She is pre-deceased by her late husband, Joseph who passed away in October of 2001. She was also pre-deceased by her brother-in-laws: Bob Coyne and Paul Sheehan; and her nephews: Michael Sheehan and Christopher Graver.
Survivors include her son, Peter and his wife, Carol; her daughters: Deb Hamtil and her husband, Bill and Karen Levis and her husband, Tom; her seven treasured grandchildren: Michael and Jennie Paskert, Brooke, Jessica and Jake Hamtil, and Julia and Samantha Levis, her grand-dog, Harley; her sisters: Carol Coyne, Nancy Graver and Bill, Diane and Sandy Lolli, and Arlene and John Tomaine; her sister in-law, Catherine Sheehan, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 9:00 AM on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. 75 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls. Interment: Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. (973) 887-3235 or visit www.partroyfuneralhome.com.
