BARBARA PATTERSON
Decaturville, TN: Barbara Ann Beecham Patterson, age 82, passed away November 16, 2025, at Westwood Nursing Home in Decaturville.
She was born May 22, 1943, the daughter of the late Emmett Clyde and Elouise Ellis Vinson. She grew up in Enville.
She married Junior Lee Mooney in 1957. They made their home in the Cabo Community of Chester County. Mr. Mooney preceded her in death. She married Howard Dean "Pat" Patterson in 1983. They made their home in Jackson. Mr. Patterson died in 1996.
She worked as a cook at Mr. B's BBQ in Jackson for ten years. Barbara loved playing Bingo and doing word search puzzles.
She was a Baptist in belief.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by Teddy Mooney (Patricia) of Clarksburg, TN, Michael Mooney (Becky) Calhoun, GA, Stephen Mooney (Angie) Camden, TN and Tim Jones (Heather) of Finger, TN; a daughter, Sherry Ann Bowman (Jeff) of Enville, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two brothers, James Vinson (Debbie) of Enville and Johnny Vinson of Henderson and a sister, Rose Vinson of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Larry Vinson and Ricky Vinson and two sisters, Vicki McCormick and Linda Morris.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Anthony Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Cabo Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday.
