Barbara Anne Paul

Barbara Anne Paul, 76, of Wayside, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on October 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and her faithful puppy, Annie.
Born on Long Island, New York, Barbara later moved with her family to Wyckoff, NJ. She went on to earn her B.S. in Biology from Monmouth University. A dedicated professional, Barbara spent more than 40 years at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, where she retired as Chief Pulmonary Technician in 2013. During her accomplished career, she also earned her CRT and RPFT certifications and was deeply respected by colleagues and patients alike.
Barbara had a lifelong love of animals and proudly embraced her role as a "dog mom." Her compassion extended beyond her home, as she generously supported numerous charities devoted to animals and children.
An adventurous spirit, Barbara found great joy in exploring the world. She loved sharing stories from her travels, which took her from an African safari to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, and even to the remote beauty of Patagonia. She also treasured her many visits to U.S. National Parks with her family, where she found peace and wonder in nature.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Anne Haden Paul and Richard Eugene Paul. She is survived by her brothers, Richard Paul and his wife Joanne of Cortlandt Manor, NY, and Robert Paul and his partner Dian McGowan of Tarpon Springs, FL; her niece, Heather Gardner and husband John of Brick, NJ; nephews Rick Paul and wife Morgan of Cortlandt Manor, NY, and Kevin Paul of Beaufort, NC, her much-loved dog, Annie and countless life-long and dear friends.
