In Loving Memory of Barbara Pipia
Barbara Pipia, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, entrepreneur, and dear friend to many, was called home to heaven on April 16, 2025, by our good and gracious Father.
Joyfully greeting her when she entered heaven were parents Clarence and Audrey (Radder), and brothers James and Jon and pups Teddy, Frannie and Vito.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband Basil Vincent, Tom and Sara of Jasper TN, Angela and Jim of Brookfield WI, grandchildren Lindsey, Victoria, Jack, Lily, Gabriella, Isabella and Francesca who called her Nana, and many other in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Barbara Ann was born on June 16, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Clarence and Audrey Rudolph, and big brothers James and Jon and was made a child of God through baptism at Atonement Lutheran Church on August 10, 1952. Barbara attended Brookfield East High School, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse as well as a Master's Degree in Public Relations from Ball State University. Barbara was a successful career woman, most notably as a sales rep at The Post newspaper, a professor at Patricia Stevens Career College, President of the West Allis Chamber of Commerce, and owner/operator of Copy Rite Printing. As President of the Village at Manor Park Foundation, Inc., until she retired in 2016, she combined her entrepreneurial spirit with her boundless compassion, working tirelessly to make the lives of others better.
Barbara met Basil Vincent Pipia in 1977 during her time at The Post and the connection was instantaneous. They married on March 29, 1980, in Elm Grove, Wisconsin and Barbara became a beloved mother to 10 year old Thomas Vincent Pipia. Daughter Angela Marie completed their family on January 16, 1981.
Barbara's love radiated into every life she touched. With her brilliant smile and giving spirit, she lived a life full of faith, service, and joy. A believer in Christ, she carried His light into every role she filled: as a mother who gave endlessly, a grandmother who celebrated every milestone, a wife who stood side by side with the love of her life, Vince, for 45 beautiful years, and as a steadfast friend, sister, and leader.
Barbara's talents seemed endless. She was a phenomenal cook, and creative baker whose meals and sweet treats delighted and amazed, and she had a knack for organizing things in her life which others strived to mimic. She had a special gift for giving - not just the most perfectly wrapped Christmas presents, but the kind of gifts you didn't even know you needed until you opened them and realized they were chosen with love and deep thought. Her stories could light up a room, and her pride in her family, both near and far, was endless and pure.
She was a proud and passionate resident of
Brookfield, WI, a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan - kazoo in hand - cheering her team on with the same unwavering loyalty she gave to her family and friends. Barbara's humor only sharpened with time, growing even wittier in her final months, much to the joy of those around her.
Barbara's life was a living example of grace, joy, and devotion. This legacy will continue to live on in everyone lucky enough to have known her. Though we mourn her passing, we celebrate her extraordinary life and find comfort knowing she is sitting at the feet of Jesus, at peace, watching over us, kazoo ready, and smile beaming.
Barbara Pipia - forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered. The family would love for the guests to wear pink, symbolizing breast cancer awareness or red, her favorite color. In Lieu of flowers "Memorial donations may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation."
