Barbara Pitts Obituary
Barbara Ann Pitts, 76 of Gardendale, AL, passed away on June 11, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Marjorie Gowers; brother, William Gowers, and fur baby, Benji. Barbara is survived by her husband, Gerard Pitts; children, Karrie Johnson, Jimmy Johnson (Christi), Phillip Pitts (Janet), and Melissa Lewis(Joey); grandchildren, Amber Startley, Cameron Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Lauren Pitts, Josh Pitts, Nick Pitts, Emma Lewis, Alex Lewis, and Jackson Lewis; great grandchildren, Caleb Fults, Bailee Sanders, Maverick Pitts, and Hudson Pitts; sister, Cathy Perry(Robert); fur baby,Taz, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Gardendale Civic Center, Gardendale, AL.
The family will recieve friends and family from 1:30 – 2:30. Service will begin at 2:30.
In lieu of flowers, please make donation in her honor to The American Heart and Lung Association or The American Cancer Society
