Barbara Ann (Sculley) Quartarone, of Randolph, formerly of Roslindale, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully at her home, after a long illness, on the 30th of July, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on April 2, 1935, in Boston, Barbara's life was a tapestry of cherished moments and enduring relationships. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Hidagarde (Ransom) Sculley and the beloved wife of the late Joseph Quartarone.
Barbara's warmth and generosity knew no bounds, and she poured her heart into her family. She was a loving mother to Deborah A. Trabulsie of Maine and Joseph J. Quartarone, Jr. of Randolph. Her role as a devoted sister to Patricia Brenton of Boston was equally important, and she took great joy in her family connections. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apples of her eye, and she embraced her role as "Nannie" to Joseph Trabulsie and "Great Nannie" to Ilana, Esme, and Malakai Trabulsie with immense pride and joy.
Barbara's life was marked by her passion and love for creation. She spent many years crafting signs with precision and care at ID Graphics in Randolph, where her attention to detail were greatly appreciated. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her dedication to her loved ones and the many cherished pets she had over the years, including her late dog, Shadow.
A woman of many interests, Barbara was an avid gardener, her hands often found in the soil, nurturing life in her bountiful garden. Her culinary skills were unparalleled, and she found great satisfaction in cooking for her family and friends. She was a lifelong fan of the New England Patriots, her enthusiasm for the team as steadfast as her love for those around her.
Barbara's love for animals was evident in the many pet cats and dogs she cared for throughout her life. Her kindness extended to all creatures, great and small, and her compassionate nature was a testament to her generous spirit.
Those who knew Barbara will remember her as a loving, kind, and generous soul, a woman whose presence was a comfort and whose legacy is a tapestry of love and devotion. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those she touched, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire her family and friends.
Barbara is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will hold dear their memories of her warmth and guidance. Her life was a journey of love, laughter, and unselfish giving, and she will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
As we bid farewell to Barbara, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart that gave so freely. Her memory will be cherished and her legacy of love will endure for generations to come.
At the request of the family, all services will be private.
