Anne Dominique Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cartwright Funeral Home - Randolph on Oct. 6, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Anne Dominique (née Romain), beloved daughter of the late Polydor Napoleon and Nativida Romain, was born on February 18, 1928, in Haiti. She peacefully passed away on September 21, 2025, in Randolph, Massachusetts, at the age of 97.
Anne was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was blessed with her children; Nicole Romain, Ronel, Veronique Polinice, Evena Dorsainvil, Yolande, Surfine Dorsainvil, and Miquelange Dorsainvil, her grandchildren; Roldy, Mirlande, Urie, Rica, Dave, Angelo, Abigaelle, Christephane, Rolson, Roudeline and four great-grandchildren; Aaliyah, Misendia, Devarlie, and Micheal, all of whom she loved deeply and unconditionally. Family was the center of Anne's life - she brought everyone together and was the glue that kept the family united.
In Haiti, Anne worked hard selling fruits such as kenèps and mangos to help support her family. She lived with different family members throughout her life, always leaving behind warmth, laughter, and love wherever she went.
Anne had a vibrant and joyful spirit. She was funny, social, and full of life, always ready to make others laugh and smile. Her generous heart and caring nature touched countless lives, and she was loved by many both in Haiti and in the United States.
She will be remembered not only for her strength and resilience but also for her unconditional love and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
Anne leaves behind a legacy of love, unity, and laughter. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live forever in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
