Barbara Riley Obituary
Barbara Sue Riley, age 76 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her home.
She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on October 28, 1947 the daughter of Herman L. King and Bernice (Thompson) King. Barbara had worked in Construction with Oakwood and was a member at the Meadows Grove Baptist Church. Going on a ride anywhere was here favorite past time.
Her parents; three sons, Hubert Joy King, Leroy King, and Shannon King; brothers, Junior King, Ronnie King, and Donald Ray King; and a sister, Brenda King precede her in death.
Survivors include her son, Bruce King of Strunk, Kentucky; daughter, Kimberly K. Cecil of Strunk, Kentucky; sister, Judy Privett Bryant of Strunk, Kentucky; grandchildren, Natasha Burton and Jessica Heckert; great grandchildren, Aden, Kaydence, Cole, Chloe, and Camden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Boyd Rowe and Bro. Shane Slavey officiating. Entombment will follow in the Lower Cal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
