Barbara Jean Scheuneman age 70, of Ravenna, MI. died Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Mercy Health Hospital in Muskegon.
Barbara was born on April 12, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Richard and Jeanne L. (Smalley) Mankel. She married Richard Charles Scheuneman on June 28, 1969 in Ravenna, MI. She worked for Ravenna Ductile Iron for many years.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 52+ years: Richard C. Scheuneman of Ravenna, 1 Son: Jeffery (Janice Donahoe) Scheuneman of Ravenna, 1 Daughter: Lisa (Phillip Cryderman) Scheuneman of Muskegon. 5 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. 1 Brother: David (Tammy) Mankel of Coopersville, 1 Sister: Diane (Steven) VanLente of Cascade. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 Brothers: Douglas and Thomas Mankel.
Funeral Services for Barbara will be conducted on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11:00am at the First Reformed Church in Ravenna with Pastor Steve VanderWoude officiating. Burial will be in Ravenna Township Cemetery.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm to receive friends. Also on Friday 1 hour prior to service.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
