Barbara Jeanne Scott, 78, of Langhorne, passed away peacefully at home on July 16, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born Barbara Jeanne Craig on April 26, 1947 at Frankford Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Daughter of Richard Craig and Elizabeth Sweeney.

She is survived by her Spouse James J. Scott, daughters Betsy and Megan, son Jim and his wife Shannon, and her beloved grandsons Daniel, Brennan, Connor. She is also survived by her siblings Rich, Ken, and Karen.

Barbara grew up in Wissinoming, Philadelphia, attending school at St Bartholomew, St Huberts High School (1965), St. Joseph University, and Colorado State University through a national Science Grant.

Barbara taught mathematics for 42 years at Bishop Conwell and Archbishop Wood High Schools.

Barb's family will remember her for her quirky sense of humor, infectious smile, and her genuine love of life. She loved spending time with her family and doting on her grandsons. She was always happy and loved everyone she met. Barb was a true bright spot in our lives and all who knew her. She will be sorely missed and impossible to replace. Her personality and life will live on.

Member of St. Andrew's Church in Newtown. In lieu of flowers or other gifts please direct any contribution to St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls, c/o Alumni, 7320 Torresdale Ave, Philadelphia 19136.

Family and friends are invited to her Life Celebration on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at The Olde Church of St Andrew's (135 S. Sycamore St, Newtown PA). Visitation with family beginning 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM . All are welcome to join the reception immediately following, held at Middletown Golf and Country Club.
