Barbara Jean Sisko

Barbara J. Sisko, age 84, of Park Ridge, passed away April 22, 2025 at Avantara Nursing Home.
She is survived by her daughter, Liane (Barry) Skolak; her daughter-in-law Nicole (Dale) Fredericksen; her dear grandchildren, Lauren (Max) Flanagan, Joseph Skolak, Michael (Jamie) Sisko, and Elizabeth (Chris) Dobrescu; her fond siblings, Reverend Robert Heidenreich and James (Kay) Heidenreich; and many other loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Sisko and her son, James E. Sisko.
Barbara's joy in life was taking care of her family and being very active in the Park Ridge community. She loved to travel, enjoyed conversations at her book clubs, and was an avid bridge player. Barbara was a member of numerous women's clubs, the 20th Century Club of Park Ridge, and was a devoted parishioner of Saint Paul of the Cross Church. Barbara was a gift to all who knew her and was a thoughtful person who loved time spent with family, friends, and neighbors. She will be missed.

Visitation Friday, April 25, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S Northwest Highway, Park Ridge, IL 60068.
Funeral Mass Friday, April 25, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Saint Paul of the Cross Church, 320 S Washington Street, Park Ridge, IL 60068.
Interment will take place privately at Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Hawkins, WI at a later date.
