Loving wife of Edward Soderlund of Falmouth. Devoted mother of Deborah (Godleski)Corey of E. Falmouth, Rex Bristol and his wife Susan of Osterville, Jay Godleski and his wife Monique of Harrisville, RI and Margaret and her husband Mark Larson of Walpole. Stepmother of Edward Soderlund Jr. and his wife Karen, Judith Soderlund, Timothy Soderlund, Christopher Soderlund and his wife Tricia and the late Mark Soderlund. Also survived by 19 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All were her pride and joy. Her family was her heart and treasured every minute with them
A gifted and prolific artist, Barbi's paintings reflect the worlds beauty that she herself photographed while traveling around the globe. Barbi was also a passionate art teacher, finding complete joy inspiring many generations of her students where her legacy will live on.
In addition to unconditional love of family, her artistic talents and adventurous spirit, Barbi was a dedicated and proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Sponsoring so many, giving strength, hope, and courage for those on their own journeys to recovery.
She leaves a lasting imprint on the AA community
Barbi and her beautiful spirit will be missed by all her family and friends who had the privilege to know her.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, March 26 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Emmanuel, 106 Central Street, Foxborough. Interment will be private. Barbi was always a kind and giving person all her life including many charities she believed in.
