Barbara Ann Springer

Barbara Ann Springer, 67, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at her home. She was born May 24, 1956 in St. Joseph, daughter of Esther (Suthers) and William Johnston. She attended Savannah High School. Barb loved to travel, and shared her experience with others, working as a Travel Agent for many years. Her favorite trips were going to the ocean. She was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church, which she loved dearly. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Joshua Springer, and sister, Linda Woods. Survivors include children, Ricky (Christie) Ellis of St Joseph, Julie (Jeremy) Davis of Savannah, MO, and Jennifer (Josh) Casteneda of St. Joseph, grandchildren, Emberlynn, Vanessa, Aaliyah, Brooklyn, Joshua, Tori, Kenna, Matthew and Rylee.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, March 25, 2024 at Green Valley Baptist Church. Pastor David Mason, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday at the church. Ms. Springer will be cremated following the services under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
