Barbara Ann (Marts) Stramaski, 74, of Saltsburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born March 15, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Robert P. "Bob" Marts and Elizabeth A. "Dee" (King) Marts.
Barb was a 1969 graduate of Saltsburg High School, and was the longtime owner of Barb's Floral Design, creating memorable arrangements for events. She previously worked in the floral department at Shop N' Save in Saltsburg. Barb loved kids, and worked at the Evergreen After School Program, and babysat children as well.
She was a member of Saltsburg United Methodist Church, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Saltsburg V.F.D. Barb was involved with her local community as a member of Holiday Heritage Committee, Light Up Night, and Canal Days.
She enjoyed watching Disney movies, and working on adult coloring books. Barb most loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Marts.
Barb is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Arthur "Art" Stramaski; sons, A.J. (Kristie) Stramaski of Champaign, IL, Mark (Meghan) Stramaski of Saltsburg; step-children, Brian (Lori) Stramaski of North Huntingdon, Debbie (John) Dick of Plum, Amy Goblesky of Turtle Creek; thirteen grandchildren; and her sister, Joan (Bill) Raspberger of Jupiter, FL.
At Barb's request, there will no public viewing. A memorial service will be announced at a future date in the Saltsburg United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in Barb's memory to the Saltsburg United Methodist Church, 813 Salt St., Saltsburg, PA 15681.
