Barbara Threlkeld Obituary
Born in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late Godfrey J. and Josephine Repko. Barbara was a graduate of Furman University and received her master's degree from Clemson University. She was a retired teacher at T.L. Hanna High School. Barbara was passionate about her various animals that she visited and cared for daily at her farm. She was a member of Saint George's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her son, Harold Preston Threlkeld, Jr.; sister, Susan R. Hassenfratz (John); and her daughter-in-law, Teresa Cartee Threlkeld.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Glenn R. Repko.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Iva, conducted by The Rev. Susan Louttit-Hardaway.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.

Barbara was a lovely likeable lady and I remember thinking "what a nice KA Rose for Brother Harald". I'm confident she'll be missed but not forgotten by any who were fortunate enough to know her. Cass
