Barbara Gail (Tenbarge) Vollman, 84, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Columbia Health Care Center.
Barbara was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 7, 1940 to George and Wilma (Bonenberger) Tenbarge. She was a member of Gethsemane Church for over 30 years and the women's Christian organization, Flame Fellowship. Barbara enjoyed reading and baking cookies for police to take to children.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Alice (Brian) Reeves of Downers Grove, IL, Carol (Rocky) Rocchio of Downers Grove, IL; sons, Eric Vollman of Owensboro, KY, Paul Vollman of Owensboro, KY, and William Vollman of Evansville, IN; daughter-in-law, Tracey Harpe of Evansville, IN; brother, Lawrence (Nancy) Tenbarge of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Joshua Vollman (Sarah), Audra Ackerman (Chris), Daniel Vollman; six great-grandchildren, Levi and Emma Vollman, Uriah, Walter and Annabella Ackerman, and Addison Vollman.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael Vollman; sister, Marion Fenwick; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Vollman.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Browning Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at Browning Funeral Home.
