John Daniel Green, 69, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. He was born in Murphysboro, IL, on May 18, 1956, to Elia Ford and Annamae (Carpenter) Green.
John attended Elverado High School and has been retired for a few years now. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.
John is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol Sue (Dean) Green; his two sons, Nathaniel “Nathan” Green (Rebecca “Bec”), and John Michael Green; grandson, Devon Shirks; granddaughter, Zuri Green; great grandson, Brantley Shirks; and his brother, David Green (Belinda). He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, William, Donald, and Bobbie Green.
