Barb was born March 19, 1938, in Flint, to the late Henry and Ella Dell. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School, St. Agnes Parish School, and Emerson Schools in Flint. Barbara proudly worked in the cafeteria at Westward Heights Schools for 25 years. On June 4, 1955, Barbara married the love of her life and best friend, Sheridan Wezell, and together they shared over 68 years of marriage. During their younger years, they attended St. Agnes Catholic Church. Family meant everything to Barb, and the joy she experienced in being a grandmother was immeasurable. One of her favorite things to do was play bingo with friends at the Polish Legion bingo hall on Carpenter Road every Wednesday morning. Barb loved traveling and spending time with family - especially during camping trips, and they often adventured to the family trailer up north. Barb will forever be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and radiant personality. She had a way of making everyone around her feel cared for and loved. Her selflessness and warm-hearted nature touched countless lives and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire generations to come.
Barbara is forever loved by: Children: Ron (Connie) Wezell, Kathy (Andy) Wezell, and Karen (Lyle) Taylor; Grandchildren: Donnie Wezell, Jr., Todd Wezell, Amandia (Todd) Klein, Rachael (Shane Rowe) Wezell, Andrew Wezell, and Heather Taylor; Great-Grandchildren: Bryan Livingston, Haley Wezell, Kaitlyn Durbin, Kaila Durbin, Troy Klein, and Gracelynn Rowe; Beloved friend of 50 years, Janice Wilson; Several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many wonderful friends from the Flint Polish Hall of American Veterans. Barbara was preceded in death by: Children: Don Wezell and Mike Wezell; Parents, Henry and Ella; Siblings: Kenny (Francine) Dell, Bud (Beverley) Dell, and Delores (Robert) Bueche.
