Mrs. Barbara Lynn Wiggins was born on April 19, 1941, in Haynesville, Louisiana, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 18, 2023, at her residence in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Barbara's life was filled with love and joy. She cherished her 61-year-long marriage to the love of her life, Bert Wiggins, and embraced her roles as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a teacher for thirty-one years before retiring. Mrs. Wiggins also found fulfillment in her membership with Delta Zeta and KKI teacher sorority, as well as her involvement in a life group at First West Church. Everywhere she went, Barbara brought positivity and warmth, enjoying herself and spreading happiness. Family gatherings, traveling adventures, playing bridge with friends, and decorating for holidays were among her favorite activities. Despite being an only child, Barbara seamlessly merged into her large family, finding her place, and embracing the connections she formed.

Mrs. Wiggins was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Lee and Vena Warden Bright.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of sixty- one years, Bert Wiggins; daughter, Dana Wiggins; son, Jeff Wiggins and his wife, Kerry; granddaughters, Melissa Abercrombie and her husband, Joe, Caroline Wiggins, and Madelyn Wiggins; grandson, Josh Ezell and his wife, Brittany; great grandchildren, Nolan Ezell, Carter Ezell, Addison Darby, and Hazen Abercrombie.
