Our beloved brother, Baron "Bobby" McDougall, a resident of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. He was 58.
Baron was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on January 14, 1967. He was dearly loved by his father, Angus (now deceased), his mother, Julia (now deceased) and his two sisters, Lynda Lipham and Tracey French. Baron never married and had no children. He loved animals and had two pups during his adult years, both of which he named Maverick – he loved them with all his heart and mourned them deeply when each of them passed.
Baron was a Catholic and a conservative. He was very proud of his Scottish and Italian heritage. He travelled extensively - living in Tahiti, Turks & Caicos Islands and New Zealand for several years before finally immigrating to the United States in 1989. He was honored to become a United States Naturalized Citizen in 2011.
Baron will be dearly missed. His family takes comfort knowing that he is with Our Heavenly Father and Our Lady.
A mass service will be held in his honor on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Dawsonville, Georgia.
