Barry Dixon Armstrong

Barry Dixon Armstrong, a devoted father, friend, and public servant, has passed away. His work as an undercover operative with the DEA and state police made a significant impact on countless lives, and he's proud of the difference he made. He was respected by his peers and dedicated to making a difference.
In his personal life, he worked to make amends and be there for his children, even if it wasn't always easy. His strength, resilience, and love will be deeply missed.
Barry was a proud grandfather, and though distance and health challenges limited his time with Henry, his love and pride shone through in every shared moment and every story told. His legacy lives on through the lessons he taught, the love he shared, and the memories we hold dear.
He was an exceptional caregiver in his later years, and his compassion and kindness touched many lives. We'll always remember his loving spirit and the lessons he taught us about perseverance and redemption.
Preceded in death by his parents, Marshall "Bud" Armstrong and Margaret Armstrong, brother Charles Roger Armstrong, daughter Sandra Eugenia Lynn Armstrong, and mother of his children and lifelong friend, Jo Anne Armstrong.
He is survived by his sons, Curtis Armstrong and Barry Armstrong, daughter Katie Armstrong, and grandchildren Henry Armstrong, Angelina Zappia, Marshall Armstrong, and Mackenzie.
A private celebration of life will be held for friends and family.
