Mr. Conroy was born in Albany, NY, in 1961 to Barry W Conroy Jr and Isabel Conroy ( nee McAloon)
He grew up in Sparkill, NY and was a member of St John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Piermont, NY.
Mr. Conroy was a 1979 graduate of St. Joseph Regional High School, in Montvale, NJ. He graduated from Pace University, in Pleasantville, NY, with a degree in Management Information Systems.
Mr. Conroy worked for the Rockland County Department of Social Services, retiring in 2024. Additionally, Mr.Conroy worked for the Home Depot in West Nyack, NY, for 29 years. He was still employed at the Home Depot at the time of his passing.
Mr. Conroy is survived by his wife, Maryrose (nee Bailey), two sons; James (32)of Brooklyn and Ryan(29) of Rivervale, NJ. Mr. Conroy is also the step father to Amanda Clark, and is survived by his Mother (Isabel), brother (Brian), sister (Jennifer Daly/John Daly), 4 nephews (John Daly, Christopher Daly, Patrick Daly and Conner Conroy) and 1 niece (Caitlin).
Mr. Conroy and his Wife were avid travelers and enjoyed Cape May, NJ. Mr Conroy was also an avid Baseball fan and served as the commissioner of his Fantasy Baseball League. He also enjoyed concerts and baseball games with his family.
