Barry Cummings, age 68 of Campbellsburg, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at his residence, with his devoted wife by his side after a long battle with Parkinson's. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 21, 1956, he was the son of the late William Joseph and Sarah (McManus) Cummings. A UofL graduate and successful businessman, Barry held management positions with several manufacturing companies, & particularly enjoyed the marketing industry. A big, loveable, and likeable guy, everyone who knew him, loved him. His friends called him "Bear" for his teddy bear-like qualities. Bear was a die-hard fan of the Florida Gators and was an avid golfer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved father-in-law, Rudolph Valentino Hillard.

Sister-In-Law: Alina Edlin (Johnny) of Elizabethtown
Memorial Service: 1 PM on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Napier Officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Henry County Help Center, 4844 North Main Street, Eminence, Kentucky 40019 or Hosparus Health of Louisville, 6200 Dutchmans Lane, Louisville, Kentucky 40205.
