Barry Carl Jensen Sr.

Barry Carl Jensen, Sr., 86, of Norway, ME passed away on December 13, 2025 at his residence. Barry was born on August 7, 1939 in Malden, MA, a son to the late Carl Jensen and Dorothy (Kimball) Jensen.

While living in Massachusetts, he was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America, Shriners Hospital International and the Wyoming Masonic Lodge in Melrose, MA. His favorite thing was talking with the animals. After retirement, he moved to Maine with his fiancé, Patricia Ingersoll, where he spent his days puttering around the farm with all the animals. He was a very kind soul and was always there to lend a helping hand.

In addition to his fiancée, Barry is survived by a son: Barry C. Jensen, Jr. and his fiancée Deborah Flanagan, his three children; Ryan, Charlette, and Adam Jensen, all of MA. He is also survived by a daughter; Deborah L. Carette, her husband Edward T. Carette, and their sons; Jeffrey A. Carette and wife Ashley Carette, and Cody J. Carette and partner Holly Foley of NH. He was predeceased by his wife, Bonnie (Ducrow) Jensen in 1998, his two sons, Keith and Jeffrey Jensen, two brothers, Paul Jensen and David Goodwin.

Memorial calling hours will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 1pm to 3pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. Donations in his memory may be made to the MSPCA at Nevin's Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
