Barry Newcomb

Barry Newcomb, age 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by those who love him on October 4th, 2025. Barry was a father, proud grandfather, caring brother and loyal friend. He was preceded in death by his loving parents John and Betty Newcomb, his brother Jr Newcomb and his niece Missy Patrick. He is survived by his sister Linda Sizemore; his daughter Stephanie Newcomb and her better half Ken Wolter; and his beloved grandchildren Isaiah, Kaitlynn and Izabella. Special cousins Marlana, Ladi and Brenda. Best friend Mike Kabula. Barry was retired from Farragut Primary School. His friends and co-workers were among his biggest fans. He truly enjoyed his time there, sharing laughter, kindness and his easy going nature with everyone. He took pride in his work. He had a love for fishing, music, visiting the mountains and going out to eat – we believe he's been to every restaurant Knoxville has. Barry's family would like to extend their gratitude to all who have offered their love and support during this difficult time. Complete strangers have rallied around us and we are forever grateful.
