Barry Kevin Phillips, 65, widower of the late Marilyn Phillips, died Tuesday, October 07, 2025, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Clarence Phillips and Jo Ann Williams. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by a stepson, Dale J. Carpenter Jr of Daytona Beach, FL; brothers, Randy Phillips of Honea Path, Clarence H. (Petey) Phillips Jr. of Honea Path, Tony Phillips (Becky) of Gray Court, and Jim R. Phillips (Wendy) of Lexington; sisters, Vickie Phillips Hobby of Belton, Melanie Phillips Luker (Kenneth) of Piedmont, and Molly Phillips Fisher (Robbie) of Honea Path. He had many nieces and nephews and friends that loved him dearly.
He was preceded by brother-in-law, Tim Hobby Sr.; sister-in-law, Sharon Phillips.
A celebration of life will be held at the home of his sister, Vickie Hobby, at 2PM Saturday, October 18, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Anderson County PAWs.
The family will be at the home of his sister, Vickie Hobby.
Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
