Barry "Mark" Phillips, 63, passed away December 28, 2025, in Lubbock, TX. He was born July 27, 1962, to Billy Mack and Mary Alice (James) Phillips, in Matador, TX. Mark graduated from Monterey High School, Lubbock, continuing his education at Texas Tech University, earning his Bachelors, and finished his education at Sam Houston State, with his Master's degree. Mark spent his working career as a schoolteacher. His favorite past-times were photography and traveling.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Billy Phillips. Those remaining to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy are, his mother, Mary Phillips of Lubbock, and his sisters, Rhonda Settle of Lubbock and Sharla Middleton of Abernathy.
Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lubbock.
