Barry Ricks Obituary

Barry was known for his warm smile, generous heart, and infectious sense of humor. A loving and caring individual, he had a natural gift for lifting the spirits of those around him. Whether through a kind word or a well-timed joke, Barry brought joy to many and was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family alike.
A true history buff, Barry had a deep appreciation for the past and enjoyed immersing himself in historical documentaries. He also found great pleasure in watching classic black-and-white films. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of hunting and fishing-activities that allowed him to connect with nature and unwind.
Barry's legacy lives on through his sister Virginia Ricks; Cookie Clark nephews David, Kevin, Donny, and Dustin; nieces Lindy and Devon; four great-nieces; five great-nephews; aunt Virginia Grandeath; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Edith Ricks; brother Bobby; sister Cindy; as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Barry will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, playful spirit, and deep devotion to those he cared about. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

Barry had such a good heart. He was my best friend my first friend in California. We went through life together my fishing buddy I miss every day you will be remembering my friends.
